Only he was 4, and didn’t know how to spell, so everything was spelled without any vowels except for a few of the letter “i”..lol, but I knew exactly what he was saying. I still have it taped to my mirror..and he’s 15 now! 😀

The best Valentine’s Day gift I ever got is a whole lot of nothing. It seems like I’m never with somebody at that time of the year. And the one boyfriend I had for three years was in jail both times. So maybe I’ll get this and give myself a nice present this year 🙂
The best Valentine’s Day gift I have gotten so far was getting engaged to my now husband. I awoke on February 14, 2007 to a Valentine’s Day card sitting on my night stand. I read the card and at the end was a written message to go into the kitchen, so I did. I walked in to find a dozen Red Roses in a beautiful vase sitting on the counter with a box sitting in front of them. I opened the box to find a note that said ‘Will You Marry Me?” I heard a noise behind me and turned around to see my husband on one knee in the doorway holding a ring. I burst into tears, squealed “yes,” and ran to hold him. He put the ring on my finger and that is where it has been ever since. We were married July 7, 2007, and I couldn’t be happier.

I would have to say the best Valentines Day present would have to be from my ex husband…Im not really all about expensive things but the things that have more thought into it. I woke up one morning and there was a card made out of a cardboard box and it was just so aswesome plus he had made me a huge breakfast in bed….It may not have been much plus we were so broke at the time but it sure meant the most!! My best ever was a poster with hearts and a poem about tiny litte finger prints, and two hand prints made out of Calamine Lotion my daughter gave me when she was in 1st grade she is now 14 and I still love to look at that poster.

I wish I could say I have a favorite Valentines day gift. I recall Valentines Day parties at school when I was growing up and getting cards from class mates and the class room party. Hoping for that special Valentine from the cute boy in the class! LOL
But as an adult I do not recall ever receiving a gift. Even my husband of 31 and half years has never given me a gift, even though I always get or make him something.
So maybe my most memorable gift is every year, never ever getting a gift or being told ‘Happy Valentines Day’ from my husband.
