On October 14, 2010 at 10:30 Mike and I were in the middle of posting freebies and getting deals ready for the next day when all of a sudden we heard what we at first thought were kids, when all of a sudden someone yelled “FIRE” I can’t put into words that feeling, we were so scared. We had time to grab our kitty and leave. We were on the second floor. When we were leaving out the door if you looked to the left all you could see were flames coming up the stair case and to the right it was smoke that you could not see anything. Mike looked to me and said “just cover you mouth and don’t breath” I couldn’t stop shaking it was so scary… we made it out of the building and were not injured. We are so grateful and we were very lucky, if we were in there for another 2-3 minutes we would have had to jump out of the second story window. All 12 families made it out of the building safe.

For right now I have to keep this post short, but Mike and I wanted to post an update. It has been a rough week and I’m so sorry, I’m not the best at expressing my feelings on paper, but in time we will share with you in more detail what happened.

We were just able to get online today and we have been reading your comments, thoughts and prayers and we can’t say thank you enough. It means so much. It brings us to tears.

Hopefully next week, we will be fully up and running posting freebies and deals.
